“You never see it coming. You’re almost fifty, everything is going just fine… and then, suddenly, everything is turned upside down.” Women exchange experiences, share tried-and-tested coping strategies and do their best to navigate the changes of menopause with composure. As they find their own way through this turbulent stage of life, many men are often left wondering what exactly is happening.
It was the desire to challenge the taboos surrounding menopause that led actresses Sylvie Ory and Elisabeth Chuffart to create GAME OVAIRES.
With lively pacing, the production strings together everyday situations that are as amusing as they are instantly recognisable. It invites audiences to laugh, look at familiar experiences from a fresh perspective and gain new insights into this stage of life. With humour and lightness, GAME OVAIRES questions common assumptions and offers an open-hearted look at a significant chapter in the lives of many women.
