Once upon a time…
The animals lived side by side in peace, happy and content. None feared the other, and no one worried more about life than necessary. But then, out of the blue, a single word falls: “wolf” … and everything changes. Suddenly, peace turns to panic. Fear spreads among the animals, growing with every whisper and tale, until a monster is born – one so terrifying that even the wolf himself would tremble. But the wolf? He hasn’t been seen in years, ever since he was driven away.
Tales of the big bad wolf are everywhere. But what actually makes a wolf “bad”? What does bad even mean? How are these images formed in our minds – and the fears tied to stories we’ve only heard secondhand? And where does fear lead when left to roam free?
A light-hearted musical theatre performance about fairy-tale villains and the fear born of hearsay.
