Cycle 1+2

On the sea, the Foam Man (Homme d’Écume) dances and plays. He is light, free as the wind, happy. But suddenly… a great dark wave, noisy, frightening, and laden with pollution arrives! It is terrifying. It engulfs everything. To save himself, the Foam Man takes flight… and lands in a strange world: the world of the Paper Man (Homme de Papier). A well-protected house, a tree to climb, fruit to pick, to keep, or to share!

The encounter between these two beings will happen step by step, beyond their differences. When the dark wave returns, invasive and threatening, they will have to help each other and call upon their creativity so that a new spring may dawn.

A poetic, wordless performance, full of music and humor, in a world of paper, performed by four hands using the Japanese bunraku technique. An optimistic look at the evolution of our world, which highlights the spirit of initiative, responsibility and solidarity in the face of environmental challenges.
