Junk Journal upcycling

The participants create their own book in 3 phases (inside, cover and filling in with photos, slogans, etc.) from presumed rubbish (concert tickets, postcards, shopping bags, brochures, newspaper cuttings, etc.). At the end of the lesson, the participants hold their own individual (souvenir/​day) book in their hands or offer it as a gift.

After graduating from graphic arts school, Nina Bezirgani worked in various advertising agencies and is an art director. Since 2019, she has been offering creative workshops for (young) adults under the name NinkkaStudio. Nina about herself and her work: I would describe myself as a mixed media artist. I like to experiment with different techniques, without any goal, and see what comes out. This curious, non-goal-oriented work I would like to bring to people, because our lives are already goal-oriented and structured enough :-)
