Long Live Death – Fancy a Murder?
With black humour, death becomes not only bearable, but amusing.
In their new programme, the duo C’est la vie – consisting of Véronique Kinnen (vocals and acting) and Rudi Schubert (piano and vocals) – present songs and texts that give a satirical and sarcastic voice to murderous urges. Poems by the well-known authors Erich Kästner, Wolf Wondratschek and Franz Wedekind have been set to new music by Rudi. The singer-songwriter also weaves in his own lyrics and, together with Véronique, performs selected songs by Georg Kreisler.
You can expect songs and lyrics with no filter – venomous, biting, razor-sharp!
